cant sign up. how can we add a “pause” in the dialled number?

1234p9 is what I need to get it to work (both pressing w and p does nothing).

could make it more “finger” friendly.

apart from that My IDD Dialer seems to be something I would use.

  2. Jym says:

    Thanks for the feedback!

The input boxes currently only supports digits. I am not sure how to add pause within the dialing sequence.

I could relax the input to allow letters in the prefix input box & email to you…

  3. Jym says:

Updated the dialer to include p & w in the prefix number.

Larger font size for the list items so as to be more “finger” friendly.

  4. Jono says:

    excellent update.

just another bug to bug you about. when you select type as “home”, none of the contacts are shown with a phone number.

The bigger font helps make it “finger” friendly but I was thinking more on the lines of something like 2 lines of text (like the contacts option). maybe even a “contacts” replacement so when I press the contact it asks which number to ring.

Its a nice simple piece of software.

  5. Jym says:

    Thanks Jono!

    Fixed the missing home numbers.
    Will add your suggestions soon!

    Whoa!
Well done! I too use zone 1511 and get really annoyed having to copy the number, type in 1511 and then paste the number in.

Will definitely try out your application. Well done!

its work in india or not plz send me info how to used in india

  11. Jym says:

It should work anywhere so long if the prefix number you entered is correct.

I am not sure of the IDD services in India.

You have to check the instructions of your respective IDD service.

    Hi,
This is great feature for pocket pc because when I travel abroad I have to edit the contact that I wish to call to include my country code. but I have a problem, all my contacts numbers start with the national code (0) so is there any way to omit the (0) after adding the prefix so that the call is performed correctly
    Thanks

  13. Jym says:

    Thanks Abdullah,

That would need some modifications especially if the national code is in between your country code & actual number.

Will probably look into it after I come back from my 2-week holiday.

    Cheers!

  14. Abdullah says:

Thanks again for your quick response and appreciation.
Take your time and enjoy your holiday.

Amazing work man, i have been struggling with this for a long time. I lives in Hong kong and travel to china very frequent. I cannot dial a number without usually modifying it 1st. This is really a life saver for me.

Having your dialer meaning all my contact is dialable without much editing with the contact themself. Also skype and other program which requires correct numbers benifit from it too because contact from outlook is now dialable.

I still think a pop up dialog before the call is sent prompting for prefix would work better but this already rock.

  16. Jym says:

Thanks for the kind feedback & comments, fellow “Jym”! :)

  17. ROCCO says:

HI DEVELOPER (JYM, ISN’T IT?). IT WORKS WELL. I PUT THE SOME “P” FOR PAUSE AND IT DOESNT WORK CAUSE MY VOIP PROVIDER (I THIN) DONT ACCEPT EASELY THE SIGN “+” BUT I PUT THE “PPP” AND AFTHER THAT “00″ SO WORKS VERY WELL AFTHER
I MUST PUT A “00″ CAUSE MY CONTACT LIST (ALL) HAS “+” AND “COUNTRY CODE” FOR ALL THE CONTACT LIST, SO I PUT MY VOIP NATIONAL LANDLINE NUMBER “+34 91 XXX XX XX PPP 00″ AND AT LEAST IT WORKS PERFFECT WITH YOUR APP. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR WORK AND IF YOU WANT, SEND ME NEW UPDATES.
    REGARDS.

    Hi!
Is it anyway possible to insert a paus “p” in MyIDDdialer?

    Plaese get back to me!
    Regards Mathias

  21. Mathias Joelson says:

Sorry… I found it in an earlier message.
But.. Why can’t you dial a number that’s not in the phonebook in this program?
    //Mathias

  22. Jym says:

The current version is based on the numbers within the conacts.

I am working on a version that allows changing of numbers just before dial and adding some of the suggestions listed earlier.

For example remove + or add ‘p’ or ‘w’ , so one can also key in a number not listed in the contacts inside the editable textbox.

Great job, the new features looks impressive, thanks for that

But unfortunately, in my devie it is not working with the below error details.

  27. Jym says:

    Hi Abdullah,

    Thanks for feedback.

    To quickly resolve:
    1. Go straight to the MyIDDs tab page
    2. Enter “IDD name” and “Prefix No.”
    3. Enter a few more if you have different providers.
    4. Set one of the IDD rows as default (it makes the row appear as red)

Once you’ve done that, that error should not appear.

It was careless of me to NOT test it without prefixes defined.
Will release a new revision soon!

    Cheers!
