We took this photo near the place where we first met…
Opposite this river was once an eating place where speed dating was conducted. We had little faith in such hasty social engagement, nonetheless, we responded to SDU’s advert.
They say the early bird gets the worm. I’d got what I’d bargained for. Way before the start of the session, there she was, sitting with another new friend of hers. My eyes were already on her.
Talking to 20+ ladies was no joke but the funny thing was we somehow discovered our rare common surname: 蔣. Genealogy was the least of our concern that night.
Jocelyn was the first to chat with me and I’d managed to bring her a cup of drink towards the end of the session. I left early and waited downstairs below the venue. She came down soon after, as if she knew I was waiting there. The rest was history…
Now, it is a new beginning…
